Mrs. McNaughton passed away Wednesday morning at Baylor Medical Center Waxahachie. She was born in May, OK. to Earl Elihu and Dolly (Wood) Alley.
Mrs. McNaughton grew up on a ranch near Laverne, OK. and graduated high school as valedictorian with the class of 1943. She married Eldon McNaughton December 31, 1944 in Laverne, OK. They were farmers and ranchers in the Buffalo, OK. area until entering full time ministry in the 1950's. She ministered with her husband, Eldon, pastoring in Stapleton, Chappel, Walthill and Thedford, NE., Wisconsin Rapids, WI, Winfield, KS., and Brookfield, CT.. They were in the ministry with the Assemblies of God for over fifty years. She especially loved working with children and youth. She took a personal interest in the students at Southwestern Assemblies of God University. Mrs. McNaughton lived her life according to Matthew 6:33-"Seek ye first the Kingdom of God". She loved being a prayer partner with lots of hurting people. She gave, gave, and gave to everyone. She was known to many as "MOM MAC".
Mrs. McNaughton is survived by: her husband, Eldon McNaughton of Waxahachie; sons and daughters-in-law; Ron and Donna McNaughton of Owasso, OK., David and Keena McNaughton of Waxahachie, Daniel and Amy McNaughton of Spring City, PA.; daughter and son-in-law, Maralyn and Jim Mathias of Finland; brother, Robert Earl "Toby" Alley of Woodward, OK.; sister, Charlotte Hamlin of Buffalo, OK.; grandchildren, Sherri Stapleton, Paul Mathias, David Mathias, Judd McNaughton, Caleb McNaughton, Kara McNaughton, Seth McNaughton, Courtney McNaughton, Cherisse McNaughton; five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.

The family will receive friends and relatives 6-9 PM Friday at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life will be 1:30 PM Saturday, November 29, 2003 at the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Reverend Gaylon Claunch officiating. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Paul Mathias, David Mathias, Judd McNaughton, Caleb McNaughton and Seth McNaughton and Charles Stapleton. Honorary pallbearers will be Ron McNaughton, David McNaughton, Daniel McNaughton and Jim Mathias. Interment will follow at Red Oak Cemetery, Red Oak, TX.
