Katherine Burcham

Services for Katherine Scott Burcham will be held on Tuesday June 26, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the 4th and Stewart Church of Christ, Brownwood, Texas officiated by John Brown and Ryan Smithey. Interment will be at Lost Creek Cemetery, May Texas. There will be viewing prior to the service at the Church. Katherine Scott Burcham was born in Erath County on January 3rd 1922, the eldest of five children born to Julian Elmer and Gladys Scott, after a full life of 90 years and 5 months. She went to be with the Lord on June 22, 2012. She was preceeded in death by her parents and husband Jeff Burcham a younger brother James Julian Scott, a younger sister Mary Louise Dougherty, her son Woody Ray Tabor and her daughter Pat Copeland. She is survived by her brother Julian Elmer Scott Jr., a sister Darlene Dees and her husband Sterling, a daughter Nancy Kay Rose and her husband Ronny, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Kathy lived at the Vicksburg where she made many life long friends and grew her extended family. The family would like to express a great appreciation to everyone at the Vicksburg for the great care and love given to Kathy. A special thank you to CMS Home Healthcare staff including her grand-daughter Lisa Callihan who was a great help with her care . Also a special thanks to Dr. Amy Tindol and her staff for their care.
