Katherine Brock

Katherine Brock, 89 of Waxahachie, passed away Thursday, May 21, 2015 in Dallas. She was born to the late Ira and Ruth Holland Campbell on March 14, 1926 in Waxahachie. Following the early death of her mother, Katherine was lovingly raised by Aunt Mable and Uncle Dan Youngblood. Katherine loved taking care of her family. She enjoyed the farm life, cooking, her cat,and spending time with her grandchildren. She will be missed and continually loved by so many. She is survived by her sons, Don Brock and his wife, Anne of Chattanooga, TN, Barry Brock and his wife, Joy of Quitman; her sisters, Margaret Wylie and her husband, Sonny of Waxahachie, Maydele Kirk and her husband, Kenneth of Waxahachie; her grandchildren, Jordan, Audra, Megan and Adam Brock. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years Edward Brock, as well as her sister, Martha Joe Nation and her brother Jerry Campbell. Services to celebrate her life are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 24, 2015 in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home with Rev. Don Smith officiating. Interment will follow at the Red Oak Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday, May 23, 2015 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
