Karen Jones

At the age of 72, Karen went home to be with our Lord and savior and her beloved sister on 7-24-22 in Waxahachie, TX.

After college Karen worked in numerous areas of the medical field for over 30+ years. Retiring from Quest Diagnostics in 2016 as a lead biochemistry tech. She was dedicated, hardworking and a diligent representative for this company. She often sacrificed herself and family for her responsibilities at work. In her retirement years she became a fanatic of the Dr. Phil show, Yellowstone, and many cooking shows. More often than not she tried recipes out on her family, some hit and some missed. Karen was often thought of as a Stern lady but those of us who knew her knew how truly loving and tender, she was. She was never big on words but always in her actions.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Dr. Carl and Kay Cason, OK. Brother, Dr. David Cason, OK. And sister Mrs. Shawn Cason Moore, LA. She is survived by several family members including the love of her life for 52 years Brian Jones, Waxahachie, TX. Her son Keith Jones and family, San Antonio, TX and her daughter Amy Jones- Davis and family, Waxahachie TX. Two Brothers Dr. Danny Cason, OK and Mr. Jimmy Cason & wife, KY. Two brothers-in-law Dr. Eddie Moore and family, LA and Mr. Mike Jones and family, GA. Five beautiful grandchildren she loved to the moon and back and numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of her life will be held privately with family in San Antonio.
