Juvenal Popoca passed away Saturday in Lancaster. Juvenal was born on July 20, 1961 in Orilla Balderrama, Mexico to Silvino and Adelina Estrada Popoca. Juvenal was a self-employed Cabinetmaker.

He is survived by wife Maria Josefina Fernandez of Red Oak; sons Ruben Popoca, Jose Popoca, and Cezar Andrews Popoca, all of Red Oak; daughters Avelina Popoca, Rosa Popoca Diaz, Margurita Popoca, and Samantha Estella Popoca, all of Red Oak; brothers Pedro Popoca of Red Oak, and Justino Estrada of Ennis; and sister Maria Estrada of Mexico. He is preceded in death by parents Silvino and Adelina Estrada Popoca, and sister Marvelda Popoca.

A Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, September 28, 2006 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, in Lancaster, Texas. Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 29, 2006 also at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Lancaster, with Father Arthur Mallinson presiding. The pallbearers will be Pedro Popoca, Justino Estrada, Ruben Popoca, Jose Popoca, Oscar Diaz, Ignacio Aagvelar, and Rogaciano Fernandez. Interment will follow at Red Oak Cemetery.
