Juliette Muirhead passed away Sunday afternoon at Select Hospital in Carrollton, Texas. She was born to Ernest and Nonnie (Battles) Carroll in Howard, Texas. She attended Waxahachie High School. She married Sam Muirhead in Dallas, Texas on August 19, 1950 and moved to Greenville, Texas later that year. They moved to Carrollton in 1966 where she became a lifetime resident. She began her career in Waxahachie with Haggar Slacks as a Floor Supervisor. After moving to Greenville, she began working for Montgomery Wards and later became Credit Manager after moving to Carrollton. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church in Carrollton, Texas.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Denise and Bruce King of Carrollton, Texas; one sister, Elnora Aday of Waxahachie, Texas; granddaughter and family, Tiffany King and Lonny Cox of Monahans, Texas; great grandchildren, Zackery and Marley Cox; one niece, Amy Ivey and husband Rob of Garland, Texas; two nephews, Charles E. Aday and wife Sharon; John C. Aday and wife Kathryn both of Waxahachie, Texas; and several great nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband Sam Muirhead.

Her family will receive friends and relatives from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 17, 2006, at Wayne Boze Funeral Home in Waxahachie. The Celebration of Life will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 18, 2006, in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel with Pastor Mark Dallalio officiating. Interment will be at Waxahachie City Cemetery following the service.
