Julie Ann Johnston, lifelong Ellis County resident, passed away Wednesday at her Waxahachie residence. She was born in Waxahachie to Jim Tom and Glenda Ruth (Hester) Johnston. Julie attended Waxahachie High School and was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Forreston Baptist Church.

Julie is survived by: her father, Jim Tom Johnston of Forreston; her mother, Glenda Taylor and her husband Louis of Waxahachie; son, Jordan Friddle of Waxahachie; daughter, Kristin Friddle of San Francisco, CA.; brothers, Todd Johnston and his wife Vicki of Forreston, and Tommy Johnston of Duncanville; sisters, Tamara Scott and husband Neil of Barry, Tony Koopman and husband Patrick of Midlothian; aunts, Eve Salisbury of Waxahachie, and Tippi Pyle of Toluca Lake, CA.; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends and relatives 5-7 PM Saturday at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life will be 2 PM Sunday, December 12, 2004 in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Todd Johnston, Neil Scott, Rodney Scott, Erik Scott, Jordan Friddle and Dirk Voorheis. Interment will follow in the Forreston Cemetery.
