Judy Craig

Judy Lynn Craig, age 73, passed away peacefully with her children by her side on March 20, 2017 in Waxahachie, Texas following an extended illness. A loving Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother, Judy enjoyed spending time with her family most of all. Growing up in Richardson, Texas she had a fun time in the 50's. Judy married Bill Craig on August 27, 1966. They were married for 39 years until he preceded her in death in 2005. They raised their 3 girls mostly in Maypearl, Texas until family duties called them to Andrews, Texas. Judy worked as a hospital admissions clerk for several years in Andrews. In 2005 she moved back to Maypearl, where she lived out her years.

Judy is preceded in death by her parents, Mel and Ludene Harrell, and husband, Bill Craig.

Those left to cherish her memory are her three daughters: Sherry Lynn Scribner and husband Daniel of Irving Tx, Shannon Lee Hicks and husband Kenny of Maypearl Tx, Sonya Ludene Pereira and husband Manny of Longview Tx, one brother Mike Harrell and wife Janie of Garland Tx, and her beloved grandchildren, Brett Hicks and wife Ashley, Dusty Hicks, Sami Hicks, Caitlyn Scribner, Hannah Pereira, and Haley Pereira and one beloved Great Grandchild William Lee Scribner, two nephews and one niece.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home, located at 1826 W. Highway 287 Business in Waxahachie.
