Juanita (Nita) Watson Hill, 88, of Houston (recently Waxahachie) died Thursday, Dec 1, 2011. She was born Feb 6, 1923 in Mont Belvieu, Texas, to William Erwin Watson and Florence Inez Wright Watson. Nita was preceded in death by her husband, John Russell Hill, "the love of her life". Now they will both join the saints that have gone before them and sing; Somewhere the sun is shining, Somewhere the songbirds dwell; Hush, then, thy sad repining, God lives, and all is well. Somewhere the day is longer, Somewhere the task is done; Somewhere the heart is stronger, Somewhere the prize is won. Somewhere the load is lifted, Close by an open gate; Somewhere the clouds are rifted, Somewhere the angels wait. Somewhere, somewhere, Beautiful Isle of Somewhere! Land of the true, where we live anew, Beautiful Isle of Somewhere! Nita is survived by her two sons and daughters in law, David and Mickie Hill, of Waxahachie, Texas, John Russell and Stella Hill, of Madisonville, Texas. Eight grandchildren and spouses, Sondra and Robert Gonzales, Terry and Becky Hill, David and Kelli Hill and Laura and James Villarreal, all of Waxahachie. Tony and Michelle Hill, Kasey and Austin Hamilton, Kenny and Michelle Hill and Kimberly and Russell Laskowski, of Houston. Twenty-three great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. Also survived by sister in law, Mary Jarnagin and husband, Gordon, of Baton Rouge. Mickie took mother to get new eye glasses on Tuesday morning; Terry went to see her on Tuesday evening. On Wednesday morning we shared a banana and glass of milk in her room at The Covenant House in Waxahachie. Mother said she wished the Lord would take her home and I, selfishly, told her it wasn't time. However, Mother saw what I couldn't see and heard what I couldn't hear... Early Thursday morning she quietly slipped the surly bonds of this earth and entered into His rest, where there's no more pain, no more tears. I miss you a lot. Arrangements by Wayne Boze Funeral Home in Waxahachie; thank you to Brad Shotts. Also, thanks to Vickie Owens, at Covenant Place for her assistance in this difficult time. Services will be held at a later date at the South Park Cemetery, Pearland, Texas.
