Mrs. Gomez passed away Tuesday in Sebring, FL. She was born to Roperto M. and Felicita (Morin) Gomez in Ruby, TX. She had lived in Wauchula, FL. since 1996, moving there from Avalon, TX. Mrs. Gomez was a Catholic.

She is survived by: one son, Luis Montoya; one daughter, Vanessa Montoya; five brothers, Frank Gomez and Ruperto Gomez both of Ennis, Santos Gomez of Avalon, Rolando Gomez of Lubbock and Florencio Gomez of Waxahachie; six sisters, Maria Rodriguez and husband Tony of Waxahachie, Juanita Trevinio, Geneva Gomez and Carolina Gomez all of Lubbock; Rosa Martinez of San Marcos, and Olga Silvas. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Jose Gomez.

The Rosary will be 7 PM Thursday at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 AM Friday, June 27, 2003 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 504 E. Marvin, Waxahachie with Father Michael Guadagnoli the Celebrant. Pallbearers will be family members: Frank, Robert, Santos, Florencio, Rolando and Gilbert Gomez. Interment will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Ennis.
