Joyce Ann Sheppard, age 66

Miss Sheppard, a lifetime Ellis County resident, passed away Thursday evening at Baylor Medical Center in Waxahachie. She was born in Milford, TX. to Willie E. and Mildred (Brannon) Sheppard. Joyce entered this life with a beautiful spirit. She captured the hearts of everyone around her. To know her was to love her.

She is survived by: one sister, Kay Rieper and husband of Waxahachie; nieces and nephews, Joy Griffin and husband Scott of Arlington, Jed Shook and wife Kelley, Darla Rieper, Tony Rieper and wife Traci, Trey Rieper and wife Stephanie, all of Waxahachie;
and numerous great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.

The family will receive friends and relatives 6-8 PM Sunday at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life will be 10 AM Monday, May 10, 2004 in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Reverend David Brown officiating. Pallbearers will be Jack Stroope, Trey Rieper, Tony Rieper, Scott Griffin, Jed Shook and John Youngblood. Interment will follow in Italy Cemetery.
