Mrs. Brown passed away Monday at St. Paul's Hospital, Dallas. She was born in Fayetteville, AR. to Chester W. and Fannie (Dorsey) Garringer. She was a homemaker and a member of the Oaks Fellowship Church, Red Oak.

Mrs. Brown is survived by: her husband, Mike Brown of Waxahachie; sons, Robert Correll of San Antonio, TX., and Michael Correll of New Jersey; daughter, Nancee Oakes of Waxahachie; brother, Donald Garringer of Carlsbad, NM.; sisters, Dorothy Sue of Arlington, TX., Doris Huddleston of Lone Oak, TX., Velma Lindsey of Arlington, TX., Marie O'Daniel of Albuquerque, NM, Joy Schmedel of Amarillo, TX., and Vera Garringer of Red Oak, TX.; six grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents.

The family will receive friends and relatives 6-8 PM Wednesday at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life will be 10 AM Thursday, January 6, 2005 at the Oaks Fellowship Church, 777 S. I35E, Red Oak, TX., with Reverend Scott Wilson officiating. Pallbearers will be grandsons: Jake Correll, Glenn Bowley, Erik Correll, D. J. Correll, Casey Correll and Mike Oakes. Interment will follow in Shiloh Cemetery, 7810 Shiloh Rd., Midlothian, TX. 76065.
