Joshua Paxton Mills

Joshua Paxton Mills sadly passed away unexpectedly on December 15 2023, at the age of 43.

Joshua was born on October 16, 1980, to parents Karen Jan Bayless, and Harry Paxton Mills in Euclid, Ohio.

Josh, as he was lovingly known, was a very musical, comical and gregarious man that filled a room with his presence when he entered it. He was a gentle giant that could make anyone feel special and could make anyone laugh until they cried.  Josh was a gifted storyteller that captivated anyone listening by his ability to bring his memories to life. He was willing to help anyone that needed it and found himself in situations where he needed to help strangers often. He had a knack for being in the right place at the right time. He found great joy when he was with his children, family, and friends. Josh will be remembered for his brilliant blue eyes, larger-than-life personality, contagious laughter, and big bear hugs. Anyone who knew and loved him will forever miss his presence.

Joshua is survived by his children: Kaitlyn Brooke, Sydney Lynne, Samuel Paxton and Josie Elizabeth Mills. Siblings: Matthew Mills, Samantha (Mills) Veneklase, and Brannan (Barksdale) Hays, and although Randall Steele was not Josh’s blood brother, he was most certainly his brother and best friend. Nieces: Clara Veneklase, and Maebel Mills. Nephews: Judah Pax Veneklase, Paxton S. Mills, and Justin Robert Hays, Jr.

Joshua was preceded in death by his father, Harry Paxton Mills, and mother, Karen Jan Bayless.

Remembrance of life service is to be announced at a later date.
