Josephine Pinkston, age 83

Josephine passed away Sunday morning at her residence in Waxahachie after a lengthy illness.
Josephine was born on the Chapman Ranch in Ellis County to Alfonso C. and Edna (Roebuck) Marchbanks. She graduated from Waxahachie High School and married Jack L. Pinkston on October 3, 1943 in St. Louis, Missouri. She was a homemaker and member of the Central Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by: her husband of 64 years Jack Pinkston of Waxahachie, one son Jerry Pinkston and his wife Frances of Dallas, one brother James W. Marchbanks and his wife Maxine of Fort Worth, one sister Nancy C. Edens of Fort Worth and numerous nieces and nephews that will miss her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers; Fonnie Marchbanks and John Roy Marchbanks, seven sisters; Katherine Bozek, Bertha Kirkpatrick, Lucile Schultz, Edith Minnick, Elizabeth Tomkins, Margaret Rogers, and Frances Hodges. Also preceding her in death are five nephews; Jimmy Kirkpatrick, Mark Marchbanks, Bill David Bozed, Johnny Tompkins, and Jake David Tompkins.
The family will receive friends and relatives from 6:30 to 8 PM Tuesday evening at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
The Celebration of Life will be 10 AM Wednesday, June 25, 2008 in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of the Funeral Home with Dr. David Kirkpatrick officiating. Interment will follow at the Forreston Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
