Chris "Bucky" Ridgway

Chris "Bucky" Ridgway, 43 of Waxahachie, passed away Sunday, June 14, 2009 at Baylor Medical Center of Waxahachie. He was born on March 28, 1966 in Waxahachie.
Chris enjoyed drag racing, hunting, 4 wheel drive trucks and fast cars. He also enjoyed fishing and at one time, held the Black Bass record at Lake Waxahachie.
Chris was a hard worker and loved working with animals, especially roosters. He never met a stranger and befriended so many. He made friends every where he went and loved people. Chris loved his family and was a loving father, brother and son and was a fun loving uncle. He will be missed by so many close friends and family that loved him very much.
He is survived by his son, Lance Ridgway and his fiancé, Sara of Waco; his father and stepmother, Billy Joe and Naomi Ridgway of Barry; 2 sisters, Kathy Been and her husband, Alan of Earth, Mary Ridgway of Waxahachie; 2 brothers, Clint Ridgway and his wife, Karen of Waxahachie, Matt Ridgway and his wife, Toni of Waxahachie; and numerous nieces, nephews and aunts, and lots of friends.
Services to celebrate his life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 19, 2009 at the Ellis County Cowboy Church with Brother Gary Morgan officiating. Interment will follow at the Maypearl Cemetery under the direction of Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, June 18, 2009 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
