Jonathan passed away Friday at his Waxahachie residence. He was born in Waxahachie to Victoria Hill and Gabriel Frank Rivera. Jonathan had battled cerebral palsy since birth and was diagnosed as "failure to thrive".

He is survived by: his mother and stepfather, Victoria Hill and Polo Gonzalez; maternal grandparents, Tammy Childress and William Hill; paternal grandparents, Beatrice Toress and Frank Rivera; aunts and uncles, Terra Hill and Michael Mendez and children, Joshua and Lyrissa, Stephanie Hill, Jacob Rivera, Sammy and Cindy Rivera and family, Michael Rivera and Arron Rivera and family; two sisters, Adriana and Brianna Gonzales all of Waxahachie; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Jonathan was preceded in death by his father, Gabriel Frank Rivera.

The family will receive friends and relatives 6-8 PM Sunday at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life will be 10 AM Monday, August 4, 2003 in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Pastor Derlon Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in Waxahachie Cemetery.
