Johnny Daniel Fleeman August 12, 1934 March 7, 2013 Johnny Daniel Fleeman had a carpet of gold rolled out as the Lord took him to heaven on Thursday morning, March 7, 2013. His long bout with bone cancer finally ended here on Earth and the jubilation in Heaven has only begun!! Johnny, their baby boy, was born in Midlothian, Texas on August 12, 1934 to J.D. and Lucile Workman Fleeman. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Donnie Fleeman of Red Oak. Johnny is survived by a daughter, Julie Martin and her three children, Dustin, Leslie and Austin; two step-daughters and step sons-in-laws, Sandy and Carl Langbein and their children, Matthew and Angie; Dot and Troy Priddy and their sons, Jeremy and Mitch. Johnny is also survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Norman and Barbara Fleeman of Goliad; a sister, Louise Fleeman Chambers of Venus; an uncle, Richard Fleeman of DeSoto and a host of nieces, nephews that he loved like grandchildren and numerous cousins. He is also survived by his best friend Ted Collard, his former wife Arlene Fleeman and other beloved Proctor and Gamble friends, Donnie Lundberg, Arch Wells, Don Nichols and John Patterson. He was preceded in death by Walter West and Pat Stephens. Johnny was stationed at Ft. Hood for four years as a clerk for a special secret forces unit where he received many acclaims. Johnny was employed by Proctor & Gamble as their "trouble-shooter" and mechanical/electrician for 40 years. He was a genius at anything mechanical and quickly adapted to technology and became an expert on the computer. He was a superb photographer and people everywhere enjoyed receiving pictures from him. Johnny's favorite charity was the Senior Citizen Food Pantry for whom he spent many hours making posters, pictures and attending fund raisers. When he retired, he moved next door to his parents and enjoyed taking his dad fishing (he was one of the best crappie fisherman that ever lived), fishing with cousins, loving his numerous Kitties and being with family and friends. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Sunday, March 10, 2013 at the Midlothian Funeral Home located at 200 E. Ave E, Midlothian, TX 76065. A celebration of Johnny's life will be held on Monday, March 11, 2013 at 10:00 AM at the First United Methodist church located at 800 S. 9th Street, Midlothian, TX.
