John Wetherell, Sr.

John Richard Wetherell, Sr., 84, passed away on July 27, 2016 in Red Oak. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at 10:00 AM in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home. Graveside services will full military honors will be held at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery on Tuesday at 12:30 pm. Visitation with the family will be from 6-8 PM on Monday, August 1, 2016 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
John was born on August 21, 1931 in Daytona Beach, Florida to Ernest and Catherine Wetherell. He love life and enjoyed hunting, fishing, baseball and taking care of his dear wife, Joyce. John served in the United States Air Force and retired with over 20 years of dedicated service to this country. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Wetherell; son, JR Wetherell; step daughter, Donna Faulkner and her husband, Richard; step son, Jerry Love and his wife, Cheryl; brother, Carl Wetherell; 4 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.
