John Walton

John David "Butch" Walton, 52 of Waxahachie, Texas passed away Saturday, April 05, 2014 in Waxahachie. Butch was born on October 01, 1961 in Waxahachie, to the late Phillip A. Walton, Sr. and Bessie Viola Chipman Walton. Butch loved to play golf, softball and coached Little League Baseball for many years. He was a lifelong resident of Waxahachie, was of Baptist Faith and loved his Dr. Pepper. He will be dearly missed by his family and everyone who knew him and loved him. He is survived by his wife Sandy Walton of Waxahachie; 1 Brother: Phillip A. Walton, Jr. of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, 4 Aunts: Virginia Grier, Joyce Grimes, Jean Otto and Bonnie Chipman; 2 Brothers in Laws: Charles Griffin, Sr. and James Campbell; Numerous cousins, Nieces and Nephews and numerous Great Nieces and Great Nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 Son: Shaun Walton in 1998, 3 Sisters: Becky Todd, Patricia Fontanez and Donna Kocher and 1 nephew: Kenny LaGrone. Services to celebrate his life are scheduled for 2:00 PM Thursday, April 10, 2014, graveside at the Waxahachie City Cemetery.
