John Osteen

John Alexander Osteen, 78, passed away on August 22, 2019 in Maypearl, Texas.

John grew up in Dallas, Texas and spent 20 years in the United States navy. After retirement, he devoted his time to taking care of his wife.

His wife, Jeannette Sharon Osteen, daughter, Tanya Gail Pollan preceded him in death, as well as most of his immediate family. He is survived by his daughter and family, Mr & Mrs. Daniel Robert Klein (Cynthia Osteen) and grandchildren. His son, Hardy Alexander Osteen and his only surviving brother George Osteen of Shreveport, La.

We would like to thank all the doctors, nurses, and all hospital staff for their help and counsel to our family. We greatly appreciate it.

Friends and family are encouraged to gather for a time of Visitation, Sunday, August 25, 2019 from 6 to 8 in the evening at Wayne Boze Funeral Home. Graveside services celebrating John’s life will be held Monday, August 26, 2019 at 10 o’clock in the morning at Maypearl Cemetery in Maypearl, Texas.
