Mr. Nash passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2008 at home in Keller. John was born in Houston, Texas to Virgil Clarence Nash and Ruthie Mae (Hunter) Nash.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Eunice Bernice (Barron) Nash; daughter, Julie Ann Nash of Keller; son, Jonathan L. Nash and his wife Jennifer of Alvarado; five sisters, Ruby Nell Hendrix of Maybank, Dorothy Marie Roach and husband Sonnie of Kemp, Daisy Mae Van Tassell of Splendora, Margaret Ann Brashear of Dallas, Cynthia Ann Hadsell; brothers, Charlie Virgil Nash and wife Dorothy of Cedar Hill, and William Franklin Nash of Haltom City; grandchildren, Alexander Blake Nash, Brittney Joann Young, Jeremy Ray Young, Brianna Victoria Christman, Kayli Leighann Nash, and Collin Brady Nash. Preceding him in death was his father, Virgil Clarence Nash, Mother Ruthie Mae Nash, and sisters Goldie Pearl Nash and Lois Ray Nash; and one brother, Luis Ray Nash.

A Celebration of Life will be 2 PM Saturday, March 22, 2008 at the Red Oak Funeral Home.
