John William Duren, age 66
January 1, 1939
June 2, 2005

Mr. Duren passed away Thursday night at Methodist Medical Center, Dallas. He was born in Red Oak, OK. to John Welsey and Betty Mae (Tollison) Duren. Mr. Duren was a sheet metal technician for RSI. He was a life member of the North American Fisherman Association and longtime member of the B.A.S.S.

His survivors are: son, David Paul Duren of Ennis; brothers, Wesley and wife Debbie Duren of GA., and Leon Duren of OK.; sisters, Bobbie Van Patten and husband David of Amarillo, TX., Marian Duren of KY., Delores Curry and husband Mike, Bessie Eddingfield and husband Ted, and Diane, all of OK.; and three grandchildren, Ashley Renee Dunn of Hutchins, Mathew and Dillon Duren of Ennis. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Diana Sue Fields Duren on November 18, 2000; son, John William Duren, Jr. in 1985 and brother Roy Duren.

The family will receive friends and relatives 6-8 PM Monday at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be 10 AM Tuesday, June 7, 2005 in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Dr. Ted Brown officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
