Mr. Coppock passed away Monday at Charlton Methodist Hospital, Dallas. He was born in Cullman, AL. to William Mark and Lena Margaret (Fallin) Coppock. Mr. Coppock was a self employed landscaper. He belonged to the Masonic Lodge and Odd Fellows and was a Baptist by faith.

He is survived by: his wife, Gladys Coppock of Dallas; sons, Thomas Coppock of Red Oak, Ronald Coppock of Mesquite, Douglas Coppock of Duncanville and Herman Coppock of Dallas; daughter, LaVon Brimage of Dallas; brothers, Madison Nelson of Clarksville, TN. and Paul Nelson of Commerce, TX.; sisters, Jewell Hayes of Gladewater, AL. and Montene Lee of Lansing, MI.; eleven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.

The family will receive friends and relatives 6-8 PM Wednesday at the Red Oak Funeral Home. The Celebration of his Life will be 1 PM graveside services and interment at DFW National Cemetery, Dallas, with Reverend Gregg Headley officiating. Pallbearers will be grandsons: Nathan Coppock, Chad Lynn, Dusty Brimage, Mathew Coppock, Mark Coppock, Daniel Coppock, Doug Coppock and Michael Coppock.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Red Oak Funeral Home.
