John A. Nonte April 6, 1941 ~ July 19, 2010 John A. Nonte, 69 of Waxahachie, passed away Monday, July 19, 2010 at his residence. He was born on April 6, 1941 to the late Arthur C. and Mildred M. Strange Nonte in Indianapolis, IN. John proudly served our country, retiring from the United States Air Force as a Lieutenant Colonel. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and traveling. John also loved spending time with his family. He will be missed by so many who loved him and admired him. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Jettie Nonte of Waxahachie; his daughters, Renee Hamm and her husband, John of Rosemont, MN, Dana Tipton and her husband, Craig of Mansfield, Maria O'Connor and her husband, Patrick of Royce City; his brothers, Ted Nonte and his wife, Brenda of Ft. Wayne, IN, Steve Nonte and his wife, Diane of Martinsville, IN; his sisters, Mary Ellen Linne of Indianapolis, IN, Linda Bevin and her husband, Steve of Indianapolis, IN, and Patty Smith and her husband, Rick of New Orleans, LA; John is also survived by 7 grandchildren, Peter and Matthew Hamm, Aaron, Ryan and Alli Tipton, and Benjamin and Brendan O'Connor; and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held with full Military Honors at 10:15 a.m. at the Dallas Ft. Worth National Cemetery, Friday, July 23, 2010. A memorial mass will be celebrated at 12:30 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Waxahachie, Friday, July 23, 2010 with Rev. Martin Moreno serving as Celebrant. Visitation for family and friends will begin at 6:00 p.m. with a rosary prayer service beginning at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, July 22, 2010 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home, Waxahachie.
