John Bowling

John C. Bowling, 72 of Red Oak, passed away, Monday, May 28, 2018 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born March 28, 1946 in Paducah, Texas.

John enjoyed working outside doing yard work and he enjoyed spending time with his family.

He is survived by his loving wife, Wanda Bowling, his daughters, Crystal Castillo and her husband, Robert Brian Castillo of Waxahachie, Amy Stevens and her husband, Justin Stevens of Waxahachie; his grandchildren, Maurissa Rendon, Hannah Rendon, Alex Castillo, Alexa Castillo, Joshua Stevens and Jack Stevens; his sister, Shirley Horton-Crass and her husband, Joe Crass of Red Oak.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Lois and George Bowling; his sister, Laverne Farnum; his brother, George T. Bowling; and also by his daughter, Stacy Bowling.

Those serving as pallbearers include, Justin Stevens, Robert Brian Castillo, Robert Castillo, Jesus Michels, Adan Cavazos and Jesse Aldridge.

Services to celebrate his life are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 1, 2018 in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home with Pastor Ryan Sims officiating. Interment will follow at Laurel Land Memorial Park Cemetery, Dallas.

Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, May 31, 2018 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
