John Keith Alford, age 67
February 4, 1936
September 28, 2003

Mr. Alford passed away at his residence Sunday morning. He was born in Warren, PA. to Royce Mont and Frances Dorothy (Harper) Alford. Mr. Alford graduated from Adamson High School in Dallas. He married Marilyn Young July 20, 1957 in Durant, OK. He owned and operated Alford Trailer Sales for 35 years, operating in Waxahachie for the past eleven years. Although he was an avid hunter and fisherman, his "life" was his wife and son. His wife has been employed with the University of Texas Southwest Medical Diabetes Research Center for twenty one years. His son Mike is a senior job placement coordinator at Cedar Valley College. He was of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Alford is survived by: his wife, Marilyn Alford of Waxahachie; their son, Michael J. Alford of Red Oak; two brothers, James Mont Alford and his wife Kathy of St. Marie's, ID, Harry Alford and his wife Troyanna of Waxahachie; several nieces and nephews; and special adopted kin, Jim and Elsie Rhodes of Hagerstown, MD. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Memorial Service is scheduled at 10 AM Thursday, October 2, 2003 in the small chapel of the Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
