Joseph Daniel "Jody" Glenn lost his short and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer on January 12, 2009. He was preceded in death by his father Dr. Clarence Glenn. Jody loved the outdoors and lived every day to the fullest. He spent his time on the family property with his beloved dog Gabby surrounded by the Ozark National Forest and overlooking the Mulberry River. He was a retired Marine and disabled Veteran. Jody was a beloved husband, father and grandfather, and in addition to his family, he also leaves behind many dear friends. He will be deeply missed by all. Family requests that in lieu of flowers, his memory may be honored with a donation made in his name to the American Cancer Society. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM, Tuesday evening 01/13/2009 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home - Hwy 287, Waxahachie. There will be a second family visitation from 6 to 8 PM Thursday evening at the Edwards Funeral Home in Fort Smith, Arkansas. The Service will be 1 PM Friday, 01/16/2009, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Fort Smith. He will be laid to rest with military honors at the National Cemetery in Fort Smith, AR.
