Joanne Hamel

Joanne Holloway Hamel, 76, passed away on February 17, 2017. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at the Red Oak Cemetery in Red Oak. Visitation will be held prior to the graveside at Wayne Boze Funeral Home, located at 1826 W. Highway 287 Business in Waxahachie, from Noon to 1:00 PM on Saturday.

Joanne was preceded in death by her parents, Gay Hubbard and Tommie Belle Holloway; and siblings, Jerry Sue Wilson and Buddy Holloway.

She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Calvin B. Hamel; children, Calvin R. Hamel and his wife, Roxanne, Rita Kay Kay Marcum and her husband, Jimmy, Kim Wyatt and her husband, Ron, and Raina Easley; siblings, Dan Holloway and his wife, Faylene, and Bettie Hutchinson and her husband, Hutch; grandchildren, John Marcum and wife, Becky, Jennifer Aman and husband, Mike, Tommy Marcum, Resa Wyatt, Brittany Foster and husband, Ben, Justin Hamel and wife, Annie, Amy Turnmire and husband, Jonathan, Amber Wyatt, Josh Wyatt, Daniel Wyatt and fiancé, Nicolesha, Heather Wyatt, Jonathan Wyatt, Hunter Easley and Tanner Easley; great grandchildren, Dylan Aman, Brady Aman, Austin Wyatt, Chloe Cordell, Landon Hoover, Lexi Foster, Aubrey Hoover, Kylie Turnmire, Gavin Turnmire, Aleya Foster, and Harleigh Marcum.
