Joann Howard

JoAnn Howard, 84 of Waxahachie, passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2014 in Waxahachie. She was born May 27, 1930 in Midlothian to the late Claude F. Matthews and Cora L. Pinnington Matthews. JoAnn loved trail riding with her husband Eddie in their covered wagon. She also enjoyed dancing and spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband, Edgar O. "Eddie" Howard of Waxahachie; her daughters, Lynell Pinkerton of Colorado, Dianne Howard of Abilene and Natasha Bullard of Ft. Worth; her son, Charlie David Howard of Avalon; her sister, Pam Ray of Mountain Peak; her sister-in-laws, Billie Ruth Baker of Grandberry, Bonnie Fay Galloway of Grandberry and Effie Hindman of Weatherford; her grandchildren, Jarrod Pinkerton, Robert McLendon and Cheryl Howard; she is also survived by numerous great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Services to celebrate her life are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 7, 2014 at the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Waxahachie City Cemetery.
