JoAnn Baker September 30, 1942 November 05, 2011 JoAnn Baker, 69 of Waxahachie, passed away Saturday, November 05, 2011 in Waxahachie. She was born on September 30, 1942 in Dallas, Texas to James L. & Pauline Johnson Byrd. JoAnn was a longtime member of First Baptist Church in Waxahachie she loved to travel and was ready to go at any time, she loved to camp, cook and enjoyed cooking dinner for her family every Monday night for friends and family . JoAnn worked in the floral business in Waxahachie for many years. She is survived by her 2 Daughters and sons in law: Pam & Greg Bowden and Stephanie & Scott Otto all of Waxahachie. 1 Brother & Sister in law: Jim & Sharon Byrd of Waxahachie. 1 Sister & Brother in law: Shirley & Bobby Jenkins of Waxahachie. 3 Sisters In Laws: Janie Neal of St. Louis, Missouri , Darlene West And Bobbie Townson both of Waxahachie. 6 Grandchildren: Candace & Matt Ketchum, Monica Bowden and Charles Gregerson; Kristan & Danny Taylor; Aaron Bowden and Eric Bowden. 2 Great Grandchildren: Hunter Taylor and Kiera Gregerson. Also survived by her little companion Dinky numerous other family and friends. Services to celebrate her life are scheduled for 10:00 AM Tuesday, November 08, 2011 at the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel with Dr. Jerry Lemon officiating. Interment will follow at Rosemont Cemetery in Waxahachie. Visitation with the family was held Monday night at the funeral home.
