Jimmy Duane "JD" Perdue, age 43

JD, a 16 year Ellis County resident, passed away Wednesday at the Baylor Medical Center, Dallas. He was born in Indio, CA. to Jack and Juanita (Harrelson) Brand, and graduated high school there. He moved to Waxahachie in 1990 and then to Midlothian in 2004. JD was employed with the Waxahachie Daily Light in Distribution. He was a guitar player, loved NasCar, was a die hard Cowboy Fan, a fisherman and a big story teller.

His survivors include: his wife, Lisa Pierce Perdue of Midlothian; his father, Paul Perdue and his wife, Jill of Clarksville, AR.; his mother, Juanita Brand and her husband, Jack of Midlothian; son, Steven Sam of Midlothian; daughters, Amanda Perdue Dunn of Rye, CO., Jennifer Sam of Midlothian; brothers, Greg Perdue of Bermuda Dunes, CA., Rick Brand of Red Oak, Jackie and Marla Brand of Yucipa, CA; sisters, Linda and Mike Kelley, Keri and Mitch Shepherd, all of Reno, NV., Carolyn and Curtis Butler of Mesquite, TX., Ralena and Joe O'Bryant of Las Vegas, NV., Regina Allee of San Bernadina, CA.; grandchildren, Ethan and Dylan Dunn of Rye, CO.;
And numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

The family will receive friends and relatives 6-8 PM Friday at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. The Celebration of his Life will be 2:30 PM Saturday, June 3, 2006 in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with David Bohannon, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Waxahachie City Cemetery.
