Jimmy Millage was born August 27, 1944 in McNeil, Arkansas to the parents of Josephus and Effie Millage.
The family later moved to Stamps, Arkansas where he attended and graduated from Ellis High School.
Jimmy enlisted in the Army and retired as a sergeant after serving twenty plus years.
He would later complete truck driving school and work for Consolidated Freight Way and Yellow Freight of Irving, TX. (until his death). He was a member of Local Union 745.
He leaves to mourn a wife, Peggy Millage of Conroe, TX.; daughters, Raquel Dole (Michael) of McKinney, TX., Tracee Wysinger (David) of Allen, TX.; stepson, Patrick King of Conroe; grandchildren, Olivia and Austin Dole of McKinney, TX., Maxwell Wysinger of Allen, TX., and John Holmes King of Conroe, TX.; sister, Beatrice Milner of Waldo, AR.; niece, Alverna Vallery (Joseph) of Dallas, TX.; cousin, Glen Butler of Milwaukee, WI.
Visitation for the family and friends is schedule for 6-8 PM Thursday, August 14, 2008 at the Red Oak Funeral Home. The Celebration of his Life will be 12 NOON Friday, August, 15, 2008 at the Red Oak Funeral Home with interment to follow at 1:30 PM at the DFW National Cemetery in Dallas.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Red Oak Funeral Home.
