Jimmy Daryl Lewis of Forreston, Texas passed away, December 24, 2016 at Zale Lipshy Hospital, Dallas, Texas. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 28, at 10:00 AM at the Forreston Baptist Church with Rev. Jason Harris officiating. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday December 27, 2016 from 6-8 pm at Wayne Boze Funeral Home at 1826 W. Hwy 287 Business in Waxahachie, Texas

Jimmy Daryl Lewis was retired with a great number of years as a Police Officer, Firefighter, and EMT with Highland Park, Texas. He was a man of service to his community.
Jimmy Daryl Lewis is preceded in death by his parents Marvin Cleo and Hazel (Ratliff) Lewis. He is also preceded by his wife Suellen (Wise) Lewis.

Jimmy Daryl Lewis is survived by his brother Billy W. Lewis MD and his wife Cynthia. Nephews Chad Lewis of Bedford, Texas, Clint Lewis and wife Tricia, Great Niece Whitney, and Great Nephew Nathan of Colleyville, Texas, one Grandson Justin Heath Watkins and great grandson Cooper Watkins of Forreston, Texas. Three daughters, Faye and husband Eric Murry of Derby, Kansas, Debra Watkins and Rhonda Pearman of Waxahachie, and son Charles Calhoun and wife Debra, of Waxahachie. Jim will be missed by a host of friends and business associates.
