Jerry Edmundson

Jerry "Litenin" Edmundson, passed away on his 75th birthday on December 13, 2016. Visitation with the family will be held on Friday, December 16, 2016 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home located at 1826 W. Highway 287 Business in Waxahachie. The family will have a private graveside service at the Waxahachie City Cemetery at a later date.

Jerry was born on December 13, 1941 in Waxahachie to Lee Edmundson, Sr. and Ethel (Wakeland) Edmundson. He was an avid golfer and was a member of the Waxahachie Country Club for many years. He also enjoyed playing cards with his friends and hanging out with his sweet dog, Juice. Jerry was the kind that would help someone out and give them the shirt off of his back if they needed it. He was always willing to help, he will be deeply missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Lee Edmundson, Jr.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce Pennington; son, Chris Edmundson and his wife, Roxanne; granddaughter, Riki Lee Caplinger; great grandson, Ely Caruso; and numerous cousins and other family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Jerry's name to the Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org

Wayne Boze Funeral Home in Waxahachie is in charge of the arrangements.
