Jerri Loke

Jerri Kathryn Loke, age 68, passed away in Maypearl, TX on Friday, July 9th, 2021. She was born in Throckmorton, TX on May 23, 1953. Jerri graduated from Sam Houston High School. She married Joe Loke on May 17, 1985.

Jerri retired from Southwestern Bell after many years to be home with her children. She later worked for Cedar Hill High School where she made many life long friends. She loved get togethers of any sort and hosted many holiday parties at her home. Jerri enjoyed getting together with her friends and always looked forward to lunch dates, Bunko nights and weekend trips to the casino. Jerri will be remembered as an amazing mother and Mom-o and a wonderful friend to so many.

Jerri was preceded in death by her father Jimmy Lee Jacobs, her mother Etta Delores Thomason Jacobs, and her husband Alvis Joe Loke.

She was survived by her daughters Amy Stapleton and her husband Bubba, and Lindsey Underwood and her husband Marcus; step-daughters Sherry Loke and Mark, and Shelly Hynes and husband Kevin; grandchildren Layna, Bryson and Jase Underwood and Rylee, Audrey and Kaelyn Stapleton; sisters Wilda Christie and husband Donald, and Anita Edwards.

The family would also like to acknowledge Jerri’s amazing team of caretakers, especially Kim - who we will always be so grateful for.
