Jeremy Scott Atkins, 34 of Waxahachie, Texas passed away Saturday March 18, 2017 at the Medical Center Plano, Texas. Jeremy is now receiving his reward in the arms of his Heavenly Father. He was born on October 10, 1982 in Dallas Texas and attended school I Duncanville, Texas. As a child, Jeremy accepted Christ as his Savior at the age of 5 and re-dedicated his life as a teenager. He most recently attended Life Central Church in Plano, where he was known to "need a lot of space for praising his Lord.
Jeremy was known as "the computer guy" and also had a passion for working on cars. Most recently, if someone asked, "How are you doing?" his reply was "Blessed by the Lord."
Jeremy is survived by his mother Rhonda Miller, stepfather Terry Miller; his father Scott Atkins; stepmother Amanda Atkins; sister Jennifer Solotaroff, and brother-in-law Jacob Solotaroff; Richard Atkins; and grandparents Doris Norman, Ron and Bobbie Norman and Zelma Atkins. Also his loving nephew, niece, aunts, and cousins.
"Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and He will reward them for what they have done." This verse in Proverbs 19:17 exemplifies Jeremy's life.
Visitation with the family will be held at Wayne Boze Funeral Home, 1826 W, Hwy 287 Business Waxahachie, Texas on Wednesday March 22, 2017 from 6-8 PM. Interment will follow at the Mobley Cemetery in Cedar Hill, Texas.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of the Wayne Boze Funeral Home 1826 W. Hwy 287 Business in Waxahachie, Texas.
