Jeremiah (Jerry) Murray Hayes, Sr. September 05, 1937 December 14, 2010 Jerry Hayes, 73 of Waxahachie, passed away December 15, 2010 in Arlington, Texas. He was born September 05, 1937 in Little Falls, New York to Jeriemiah Murray & Margerite O'Conner Hayes . He was a longtime resident of Waxahachie, a Catholic by faith and served in the U.S. Air Force . He was a truck driver and retired after 40 years of driving. He is survived by wife of fifty years Rosemary Hayes of Waxahachie, 2 sons: Jeremiah Hayes, Jr. of Sulfur Springs, Texas, Stephen Hayes of New York; 2 Daughters: Carol Hayes of Waxahachie and Lisa & Billy Burkes of Waxahachie; 6 Grandchildren: Justin Hayes, Billy Burkes, Jr. , Bobby Burkes, Shelby Hayes and Dustin Hayes; 2 Great Grandchildren: Hannah & ShyAnne Burkes. He was preceded in death by 1 son: Richard Hayes in 2000. Services to celebrate his life are scheduled for 10:00 AM Monday, December 20, 2010 at the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of the Wayne Boze Funeral Home with Father Henry Drozd officiating. Interment will follow at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, December 19, 2010 at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
