Jerald Sean Wilborn was born October 21, 1962 in Albuquerque, NM to Gene and Louraine Wilborn. He grew up in Denton, TX and graduated from Denton High School and later Abilene Christian University. Sean was joyfully married to Mary Kathryn Jenkins Wilborn for 6 years, most of them spent in Frisco. Sean was the proud father of three children: Ty James Wilborn, Charlotte Mae Wilborn, and Joy Kathryn Wilborn. Sean devoted his life to his family, friends and church; all in faithful service to his Lord Jesus Christ. Sean pursued his life long dream of flying and was a pilot for Delta Airlines. He enjoyed photography, hunting and playing with his kids. Sean is survived by his wife, three children, parents, and three sisters: Stephanie (Wilborn) Davis, Leslie (Wilborn) Coleman, and Amy (Wilborn) Kirkpatrick as well as many nieces and nephews. Sean has been in the presence of his Savior and Great Hope since December 19, 2011. Romans 3:22-24 "This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus." For Ty, Charlie and Joy: Jeremiah 29:11 "'For I know the plans I have for you ,' declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." A memorial service to celebrate Sean's life will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, December 22, 2011 at the Stonebriar Community Church, 4801 Legendary Drive, Frisco, Texas 75034 under the direction of Wayne Boze Funeral Home, Waxahachie.
