Jeffrey "Jeff" Winningham

Jeffrey Keith Winningham (47) passed away at home on Thursday, November 28, 2019 in Waxahachie, TX. He was born January 22, 1972 to Rebecca Irene Winningham and Willie Bea “Bill” Winningham.

Jeff was a graduate of Waxahachie High School. Jeff was a long-standing member of the law enforcement community. He served over 23 years as an officer. He was last employed as the Sergeant of Criminal Investigations for the Hill County Sherriff’s Office. He was previously employed as a deputy for Ellis County Sherriff’s Office and an officer for the Waxahachie police department.

Jeffrey lived life to the fullest and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was quick to bring a smile to everyone’s face. He is survived by his wife, Jessica; mother, Irene Rebecca Winningham; sisters, Judy Steele, Jan Kelly and Brenda Huddleston; children, Nicholas Winningham, Hailey Sanchez Winningham and Lanese Feroli and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Families, friends and others whose lives Jeff touched are invited to Wayne Boze Funeral Home, 1826 W. Hwy 287 Business, Waxahachie, TX, from six to eight in the evening on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 to reminisce, grieve and support each other. A service Celebrating Jeff's life will be held at six o'clock.
