Jeffrey Peter Gowesky
March 3, 1950 - September 23, 2008

Jeffrey Peter Gowesky was delivered home to glory on September 23, 2008. He is survived by Sarah, his beloved wife, Helen Gowesky, his mother, his children Heidi and Jason Brown, Heather and Jonathan Long, Peter and Tiffany Gowesky, and Marcy Gowesky. He was adored by his grandchildren: Ethan, Ella, Quinton, Emma, Jack, Adelyn, Noah, and Grace. He is survived by his siblings: Marie Rozman, Gary Gowesky, and Michael Gowesky. He was preceded by his father Joseph Gowesky and father-in-law John Gandy. Jeffrey was a faithful shepherd to the flock entrusted to his care for many years. He was a tender and thoughtful husband, fun and loving daddy, and doting granddad. He loved his Lord and lived to serve his Savior. He was a true servant. There is an empty place in our hearts filled with the assurance of our reunion in heaven.

Visitation for family and friends will be held at the Waxahachie Bible Church Thursday, September 25, 5pm-7pm, followed by a memorial service to celebrate his life at 7pm. Private graveside service will be held on Friday morning, September 26, 2008. In lieu of flowers gifts may be given to the Jeffrey Gowesky Memorial Fund which will be dispersed between 3 special missionary couples. Please make contributions to Waxahachie Bible Church, P.O.
