Jeffrey Daniel Acord of Venus passed away Friday at Baylor Medical Center, Waxahachie. He was born in Dallas to Danny Wayne and Christie Laverne (Prince) Acord.

His survivors include: his parents, Danny and Christie Acord of Venus; grandparents, Henry Prince, Jr. of Point, Betty Mosley Martinez and Lupe Martinez of Mesquite, Teresa Acord of Dallas, step grandfather, Emmett Gross, also of Dallas; great grandparents, Mary Frances Prince of Arlington and Harold Allen of Arp; brothers, Toby Rouse, John Ross and Justin Acord all of the home. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, John Acord, Jr.; great grandparents, Henry Prince, Sr., Clara McCalip, and Mildred Allen.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home in Waxahachie. The Celebration of Life will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 6, 2006 at the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel with Brother Tony Sheffield officiating. Interment will follow at the Trinity Cemetery in Wilmer, Texas.
