Jeffery Glenn Taylor

Jeffery (Jeff) Glenn Taylor was born January 7, 1956 in Waxahachie, TX and passed away peacefully at the age of 67 in the comfort of his wife’s presence on November 22, 2023.

Jeff graduated Waxahachie High School in 1974, where he also lived the majority of his life. He had a love for his family, friends, all things sports (especially golf), and his hometown. He was a proud father and Poppa. Our dad always told the best stories and had so much fun doing it! His love for the community was shown by his support of local organizations and events, and was active in helping as the public address announcer for Special Olympics and Waxahachie High School events, leading the local soccer association for a number of years, and serving on local non-profit boards.

Jeff is preceded in death by his father and mother, Barney and Bobbie Taylor of Waxahachie. He is survived by his wife, Judy Taylor, of 24 years; son Matthew (Matt) and Brandy Taylor of Waxahachie; son Jeremy and Amy Taylor of Mansfield; daughter Lindsay and Gary Willenborg of Burleson; daughter Tammy and Marke Shaw of Arlington; daughter Holly and Kevin Thorman of Burleson; daughter Katy Ramsey and Corey Hix of Granbury; sister Vicki and Nick Massad of Houston; brother David Taylor and Dave Simmons of Houston; 12 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews, whom he all loved deeply.

Celebration of life will be held at 10 am on January 6, 2024 at Waxahachie Bible Church, 621 N. Grand Ave, Waxahachie, TX 75165.
