Jeff Mcgregor

Jeff Dunaway McGregor of Waxahachie, Texas passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 8, 2021.   He was born in Dallas on August 12, 1937 to parents Lorenzo Dow and Frances Dunaway McGregor. Jeff graduated from Waxahachie High School and Stephen F. Austin State University with a degree in business and agriculture.  He retired from the Department of Housing and Urban Development in 2004.  Jeff was proud of his service in the US Army, proud to be a mason, and proud to serve at Bethel UMC.  He was preceded in death by his parents and leaves behind his wife of 40 years Andreia Herod McGregor.  He is also survived by his sons and their wives – Jeff McGregor Jr. and Tina of Port Aransas, John Dow and his wife Beckey of Coppell – and a daughter Shelley Sanders and her husband Mike of Fort Worth. He leaves behind one sister DowAnna McGregor. His six grandchildren are Christyn Carriere, Garrett, Madeline and Lauren McGregor, Kendyl McKeon and Brendan Biggs also four great grandchildren Caroline and Josephine Carriere and Brayden and Brenna Biggs.
