Janice Leigh McClanahan, age 44
October 8, 1960
July 24, 2005

Mrs. McClanahan passed away Sunday at her Red Oak residence. She was born in Dallas, TX. to John Carl and Dolores Ann (Hendley) Knight. Janice worked with handicapped children at Red Oak ISD for many years. She was a member of the Church of God in Ft. Worth.

Mrs. McClanahan is survived by: her husband, Richard Wade McClanahan; mother, Dolores Knight; sons, Jeremy Titus, Justin Titus and wife Brittney, and Richard McClanahan II, all of Red Oak; daughters, Ashley McClanahan of Wylie, TX., Mary Beth McClanahan and Elizabeth Ann McClanahan both of Red Oak; brothers, Monty Knight and wife Beverly of Gainesville, GA., Chuck Knight and wife Judy of Dawsonville, GA., Johnny and Donna Knight of Red Oak; sisters, Gina Baker and husband Doug of Red Oak, and Lisa Johnson and husband Brad of Keller, TX.; grandson, Caleb Titus. She was preceded in death by her father, John Carl Knight and brother, LeJon Knight.

The family will receive friends and relatives 6-8 PM Tuesday at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. The Celebration of her Life will be 3 PM Wednesday, July 27, 2005 in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Reverend Larry Watkins officiating. Pallbearers will be Chuck Knight, Monty Knight, Johnny Knight, Jeremy Titus, Justin Titus, Richard McClanahan, Doug Baker, and Brad Johnson. Interment will follow in the Red Oak Cemetery.
