Janet Hazeldean

Janet Elaine Field Hazeldean, age 69, of Midlothian, Texas, entered this life on April 14, 1948 in Seminole, Texas, the daughter of the late Boyd and Lillian (Renner) Field of Andrews, Texas. She was raised in Andrews and was a 1966 graduate of Andrews High School. Elaine was united in marriage to William Edward "Ed" Hazeldean on August 12, 1973 at the First Baptist Church in Lubbock, Texas, having only met each other 10 days prior. To this union arrived one daughter, Abbye Loraine. They enjoyed 45 wonderful and happy years together, residing in multiple cities throughout Texas, but she always considered Houston her home. She graduated from University of Houston in 1979 with a degree in Mathematics. Elaine owned and operated a Private Regulatory Consultancy Agency for more than 30 years, retiring in 2012. She loved Decorative Painting where she remained active in various chapters until 2016, but her greatest passion was her love for her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. In May of 2016, she and her husband moved to Midlothian, Texas, to be closer to their daughter. Elaine went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 10, 2017 at home in Midlothian, with her loving daughter and husband at her side.

Elaine is survived by her husband, Ed Hazeldean of Midlothian, Texas and Daughter Abbye Loraine Hazeldean of Waxahachie, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Boyd and Lillian (Renner) Field; and her sister, Elizabeth Blankenbaker.

Visitation is planned for Monday evening, November 13, 2017, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Wayne Boze Funeral Home in Waxahachie, Texas. Funeral services are planned at Farley Street Baptist Church at 2:00 pm, November 14, 2017, followed by Interment at Waxahachie City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Leukemia Society or to Prairie Home Baptist Church, Haxtun CO.
