James Marvin "Jimmy" Tittle, age 59

Jimmy Tittle, age 59, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday morning at his Waxahachie residence. He went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 15, 2006. He was born in Waxahachie, Texas on September 29, 1946 to James Wallace and Clydie Belle Tittle. Jimmy was preceded in death by his father and father-in-law, Paul McKee.

Mr. Tittle attended Waxahachie High School and Navarro Junior College. He was a lifelong resident of Waxahachie. He retired in 1999 from Southwestern Bell/AT&T after thirty two years of service.

He is survived by: his wife, Judy Tittle; his four-legged baby, Lucy; two sons, James P. Tittle and Jeffrey and wife Lisa Tittle of Waxahachie. Also surviving are his mother, Clydie B. Tittle of Waxahachie, Texas; a brother, Marty Tittle and wife Carol of Italy, Texas; his mother-in-law, Katherine McKee of Waxahachie; sisters-in-law, Paulette Thompson and husband Burrell of Queen Creek, Az.; and Sheila Hollis and husband Philip of Topeka, Ks.; two grandchildren, Drew and Marnilee Tittle; as well as many friends and other relatives.

Visitation will be Sunday, March 19, from 6 to 8 PM at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home.

The Celebration of Life will be Monday, March 20 at 3 PM in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of the funeral home, with Reverend Philip E. Hollis and Reverend Edwin Lipsey officiating. Interment will follow in Italy Cemetery, Italy, Texas.
