James Shows

James Avery "Jim" Shows 70, of Waxahachie, Texas passed away Monday, February 18, 2013 at his home. He was born May 22, 1942 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama to Otha B. & Cora Mae Avery Shows. Jim owned and operated Shows Photography Studio in Waxahachie from 1986 to 2003. Jim is survived by his wife Cathy Shows and Sons: Brad Shows of Japan and Mike Shows of Waxahachie; 5 Grandchildren: Jamie and Justin Shows, Nicole and Thomas "Bubba" and Tanner Shows; 1 Great Grandchild, Atticus Shows; 2 Sisters: Annie Crowe of Powell, Tennessee and Marilyn Goss Harris of Dallas and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, O.B. Shows and Cora Mae Shows and a brother Joe B. Shows. Services to celebrate his life are scheduled for 11:00 AM Saturday, February 23, 2013 at Christ the King Lutheran Church with Rev. Robert Hemsath officiating. Visitation with the family will be held from 9:00 AM to 10:30AM Saturday, February 23, 2013 at Christ the King Lutheran Church.
