James Nicholson

James "Mike" Nicholson passed away September 30, 2011 at his home in Waxahachie after a lengthy illness. He was born in Dallas, Texas on September 24, 1947. Mike was preceded in death by his parents, James and Margaret Nicholson; and by his brother, Ronnie Nicholson. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Sherry Nicholson; his children, Michele, Greg and his wife, Amber, and Matt. His grandchildren were the light of his life, Kayla, Payton, Samantha, Trinity, Gavin and Garrett. He is also survived by his brother, David Nicholson of Mesa, Arizona; his brother-in-law, Jay Lemon; his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Jan and Dennis McKinney of Morrison, Colorado; and by his mother-in-law, Connie Lemon of Mesquite. Mike will be truly missed. Services to celebrate his life are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home, Waxahachie.
