James Middleton

James W. "Buddy" Middleton passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2013, after a long battle with cancer. He was 76. Buddy was born February 5, 1937, in Waxahachie, Texas to Edith and Wade Middleton. He married Sarah Virginia Reynolds in 1965 in Clovis, New Mexico. Buddy worked for Southwestern Public Service for more than thirty years and served as a deacon at Monterey Baptist Church in Lubbock for many years. He enjoyed snow skiing, riding bicycles and spending time with his grandchildren and his dog, MITIE. Buddy was loved by many and will be dearly missed. Buddy was preceded in death by his parents, Wade and Edith, and by his wife, Sarah. He is survived by his brother Jerry Middleton, sons Steve Middleton and Heath Middleton, daughter Rhonda Goostree, and grandchildren Lindsey Middleton, Clint Middleton, Wesley Middleton, Megan Middleton, and Lily Goostree. Services to celebrate Buddy's life are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 20, 2013, at the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home in Waxahachie, with Reverend Darren Tidwell officiating. Interment will follow at Sardis Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Sunday, May 19 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home in Waxahachie. Arrangements are under the direction of Wayne Boze Funeral Home in Waxahachie.
