James Elroy Griffin, 67 of Waxahachie, passed away Monday, April 14, 2008 at his residence in Waxahachie. He was born to the late Anthony E. & Addie Crow Griffin on April 14, 2008 in Kerrville, Texas.
Elroy loved to fish and he loved the Lord. He enjoyed being around people and loved playing jokes on others. Elroy was a giver and was very generous and kind. He was a member of New Foundation Covenant Church in Sardis. There are so many who loved him and he will be missed by all.
He is survived by his loving wife, Arlene Griffin of Waxahachie; daughters, Pamela Ennis and her husband, Derrek of Freeport, FL, Sherry Faith Griffin; son, James Griffin & his wife, Brenda of Freeport, FL; nephew, Bill Upton of Waxahachie; sister, Beatrice Calder and her husband, Wayne of Denton; grandchildren, Christopher Ennis & Fiance, Kristin Funk, Tarra Ennis and Sterling Griffin; niece, Pastors Lillie & Mark Griffin of Denton.
Memorial services to celebrate his life are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 17, 2008 at New Foundation Covenant Church of Sardis with Pastor Gina Morris officiating.
